1. What Yif is

Yif (“we”, “the service”) is an independent web platform that lets you generate audio with third-party AI models, currently Seed-Audio 1.0, through officially licensed API providers. Yif is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to ByteDance Ltd., its Seed team, Volcano Engine, or BytePlus. “Seed Audio”, “Seedance”, “Seedream” and “Doubao” are trademarks or brands of ByteDance Ltd. and its affiliates, used here solely to identify the model this service provides access to. Model inference is provided through independently licensed API providers.

2. Your account and credits

Free takes require no account. When credit packs launch, packs are one-time purchases tied to your account, do not expire, and are not transferable. Credits are consumed per second of rendered audio as displayed at purchase time.

3. Your content and license

You own the prompts you write. Subject to the model provider’s terms, audio you generate on a paid pack may be used commercially. Audio generated on the free tier is watermarked and licensed for personal, non-commercial evaluation only. You are responsible for ensuring you hold rights to any material you include in prompts or reference audio.

4. Acceptable use

Use of the service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which prohibits impersonation, cloning a voice without documented consent, and unlawful content. We may suspend access for violations.

5. Service quality and availability

Generation depends on upstream model providers. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, render success for every prompt, or fitness of output for a particular purpose. The service is provided as is. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

6. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
